Dizzy Divers Challenge

24 HOUR DIVE CHALLENGE 2011

Dates for your diary

Only in early planning stages at the moment, so please bear with me.

The 2010 event raised £1800.00,
so a huge thank you to all who took part, or supported the team

Dizzy Divers are taking back to the waters in 2011 to raise some funds for charity.

This coming event is proposed to raise funds for Help for Heroes.

The dates are  25th and 26th June 2011

The event involves having a buddy pair of divers in the water every hour over a 24 hour period. If we have enough divers then we can have more in the water at any given time. The target is “24 dives in 24 hours” (minimum)

We are therefore looking for 24 or more divers who are interested in volunteering. We will also need support volunteers, i.e Marshalls, shore cover etc

The venue is to be on the south coast,  We are hoping for Kimmeridge Bay again, with diving in the local area from a RHIB. Night dives will be shore dives.

You are welcome to join us, even if you are only a trainee, we have instructors on the team and this can be one of your training dives. All grades, all associations welcome.

There is a registration fee, for which you will receive a H4H Tee Shirt and each diver will be required to raise sponsorship.

There will be some refreshments and shelter for the event, but please bear in mind that you will only be required to be present for your dives and briefing (plus kit-up and de-kit). You will not be required to stay on-site for the 24 hours.

You are however welcome to stay as long as you like.

Once registered, more info will follow as and when sorted.

Please contact me for further information.
